Discovering the territory:
SANT'ANGELO IN VADO: Sant'Angelo in Vado, located 15 minutes from Peglio, was an ancient Roman village named “Tifernum Metaurense”, that still conserves today precious finds from the past as the ancient Roman “domus” with mosaic works. In the historical centre there are many carved portals churches with inside great value oil paintings. Many palaces of the renaissance rise along medieval alleys of the historical centre. Today is known as the Capital of the white precious truffle, one of the city leading product with the local meat with D.O.P denomination. To the white precious truffle is dedicated an important market show in October.
